Just noticed that new update of IE7 beta is now avaiable, announced in MS’s MIX06.
I’ve been using IE7 previous beta which was quite stable and crashed only few times. I will install this update tonight and will post it’s screenshots on my blog.

Were you using it exlusively as your browser? My experience with IE 7 beta was it would crash intermitently every 30 minutes, it was slow, and throw errors all the time.
Finally I removed it …
I was actually seriously writing a post about how much like swiss chesse it was … and in regards to the latest BETA, it won’t even install on my machine now … my machine isn’t out of the norm either, so looks like they have their work cut out for them.
It’s bad when you can tell how much faster ie 6 is after uninstalling 7 … but perhaps I’m the only one? Nah.
I am using it as my primary browser. IE7 first preview version which caused my Win2003 to crash, was not that stable and you are right it may have disapointed many others. IE7 made first impression bad.
i installed it’s second update, and was using from the day it was released, i was impressed by it. now this update which i’ve just installed is more faster in startup and quite stable, no crashes so far :D
i feel it’s getting better. if you have WinXP SP2, install it. it should work.

I have the latest sp and updates. I’ll give it another try later.
Install error is probably due to a 3rd party app (complaining about a .dll file), so I’ll try disabling everything, see if that does the trick.
I’ll submit the error to them so they know about the problem … it’s probably just my config.
I wish it work for you. Good luck! :)
