as my regulay activity this morning i opened microsoft.com, it took a bit long than usual to open. but hey, its totally new website. i like it.
its a bit heavy, but not heavy as adobe.com which loads many stylesheets & javascripts before anything else comes up :)

[…] I don’t like it. F.L.A.S.H.I.S.M’s blog says he enjoyed it (how I found out the news.. via fullasagoog.com). I personally don’t. Any links you click take you to a completely different style of page, it takes to long to load (it’s loading all the data that is accessed by the left nav at the bottom before you even see it), and it don’t have any one theme (the images, the box on the right, and the lower left content area have no common tie ins. well, you are right on this.
they’ve already described that the change is only at the homepage in the about homepage link on the top. http://www.microsoft.com/about/mspreview/en/us/abouthomepage.mspx
they also described this is just the begining, sounds interesting to me.
yes, the website loads a bit slower that the old one. well new things brings new issues :P
