for years I’ve been using virtual machines and found them critical development asset. previously i used vmWare Workstation, but for last one year, I’ve been happily using MS Virtual PC.
the recent announcement i got through MS TechNet newsletter that MS Virtual Server R2 EE is now free. so, I’m just jumping to it.
One thing that made me switch to VPC, after installing vmWare Workstation, the host system’s boot up time gets too much. basically it’s the vmWare’s network drivers which cause the delay. With VPC, there’s no impact on host system’s boot up time.
so, download it now FREE and have as many v-machines as you want ;)
