Who says Firefox is secure?

I have received some info on browser security vulnerabilities reported by thier developers.

Excerpt from pcmag.com’s security watch newsletter:

Vendor-Reported Browser Security Vulnerabilities from January 1, 2005 through May 23, 2005
Different vendors are more granular in their classification of bugs, and the classification of a bug as “critical” is also from the vendor.

Internet Explorer – 8 Total, 6 Critical
Firefox – 41 Total, 10 Critical
Opera – 5* Total, 0 Critical
Safari – 4 Total (Apple doesn’t classify severity of security vulnerabilities)

Lets see how IE7 will address security.
